  1. Hello Erika,

I’m taking my group (i.e., my girlfriend and me, lol) meteor-watching on Saturday evening (make that Sunday early-morning from about 2 to 5 a.m.). Your photo in this post — the one and only — isn’t displaying. You may want to check that out.

I have two concerns, one astronomical and the other terrestrial. Viewing conditions and physical security. Our group is either going to UP Diliman, Ateneo, or Boso-Boso (what a name, lol). The third possibility came from your blog — thank you!

How would you evaluate the three — perhaps you can number them for me?

And if you guys are planning to see it yourselves and care to join us… that would be great!

    Cooper

    • Hi Mr Cooper!

I’m very sorry for the late reply. I do hope you were able to observe the Geminids with your group.ūüôā Boso-Boso in Antipolo is definitely the best place to observe because it is away from the city therefore less light pollution and darker skies. But it’s more than an hour drive from QC. I usually observe in UP Diliman and Ateneo for meteor showers because of accessibility but I could only see the brightest meteors due to light pollution.ūüôā
