Moon, Jupiter, and Lunar Halo

I got a chance to observe last night. I was supposed to study and stay awake until the next morning, but I can’t miss this opportunity to see (after a very loooong time) Jupiter and the Moon through my telescope. The close pairing was also surrounded by a lunar halo. What an awesome sight!

I took a few wide-field images of the Gibbous Moon, Jupiter and the ice halo. I also tried to image up-close the planetary bodies but the clouds rolled in just in time when I was about to shoot!

Anyway, I hope I’ll find more time to do observations again.

To the stars!
