Where to observe the June 16, 2011 Total Lunar Eclipse?
You can either observe alone or join astronomy enthusiasts and astronomers in witnessing the first total lunar eclipse of the year.
Below is a list of Philippine astronomical groups including the time and venue to join them:
ASTRONOMICAL LEAGUE OF THE PHILIPPINES (ALP)
From Dr. Armando Lee of ALP and AstroCamp Observatory:
I would like to invite everyone to come and join in observing the coming total lunar eclipse from the “best seat” in town (Astrocamp @ SM by the Bay Park, Pasay City) and with the best astronomers you can find. Film showing and lecture (at Science Discovery Center) followed by an overnight observation (Astrocamp Observatory) with astronomers and their telescopes. ALP members get to join at the SM by the Bay Park for free! Just bring your IDs or wear ALP uniform!

You can also go to SEVEN SUITES HOTEL OBSERVATORY that houses the 4th largest telescope in the Philippines. They also offer public viewing of the said event.
If there’s no way you can go outside, you can visit Astronomers Without Borders website to watch live webcasts of the total lunar eclipse in other countries.
