2010 Geminid Meteor Shower Observation in the Philippines
All amateur astronomers in the Philippines are excited for the coming of the annual Geminids – one of the best meteor showers of the year. The meteor activity will occur for almost two weeks (from Dec. 7 to Dec. 17). According to PAGASA, Geminids will reach its peak on the night of Dec. 14, where an average of sixty meteors per hour can be seen when the first quarter moon has set after midnight.
