Solar Corona

This is my first time to see a solar corona. I have to wear sunglasses to lessen the light intensity and see this atmospheric phenomenon. But please take note: It is not safe to look directly at the Sun even if you’re wearing sunglasses. Please don’t do this unless you are definitely sure you know the precautions. ūüôā

Corona is produced through diffraction of light by tiny cloud droplets or sometimes called small ice crystals.

I also have images of lunar corona. You may see them here and here.

Clear Skies!
