Sunrise after Lyrids

I only saw 2 lyrids and 2 sporadic meteors in my 5 hours of observation last April 24, 2010. The meteor shower wasn’t as good as I expected it to be like three years ago.

Even though I didn’t see a lot of meteors, I’m glad I met Edmund Rosales, a Filipino astronomer who is so passionate teaching Astronomy to everyone.  I was able to talk to him until sunrise and learned so many things from his stories and adventures – all for the love of Astronomy.

I admire him for his passion and I hope I will also find my way of reaching the stars! 😉

Below are images my officemate and I took while watching the sunrise:

I used Genie's Canon EOS 500D to get this image. Thanks, Gen! 🙂

To the stars!!
