Mars Hoax of August 27

I have noticed that my recent visitors were mostly searching for Moon and Mars on August 27, 2008. After reading a few astronomy blogs about this, I realized that these people were victims of the Mars Hoax – where Mars will become as big as the full moon. This rumor has been going around since 2003.

There are a lot of sites explaining why you shouldn’t believe what the Mars Hoax is claiming. It is undeniably FALSE!
